Clinical Practice and Value Exploration of Narrative Medicine Patient Education
This paper introduces the exploration and reflection of the clinical practice of the narrative medicine at the Department of Integrative Oncology of The Sixth People's Hospital of Zhengzhou.Through clinical"templated"practice, attention, listening and reflection, traditional patient education association formats,a comprehensive understanding of patients'or family members'thoughts, viewpoints, physical functions, and medical expectations are obtained.By integrating patient's complaints and medical history, doctor and patient can reach a convergence of cognition on the disease. This approach identifies high-frequency issues that clinical work needs to focus on and allows medical professionals to better understand patients or family members from multiple perspectives. Both medical professionals and patients,as equal subjects, collaborate to complete medical diagnosis and treatment, ultimately achieving clinical empathy and shared decision-making between medical professionals and patients.
