Exploration of the Historical Evolution and Construction of Traditional Chinese Medicine Textbooks
Textbooks are not only the knowledge transmission carrier for cultivating high-quality talents and the main basis for carrying out educational activities,but also an important tool for higher education institutions to carry out teaching tasks.This article divides the development stages of textbooks according to different periods,analyzes the historical background,content characteristics,and other aspects of the first to eleventh editions of the unified compiled textbooks for higher education in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),in order to understand the historical evolution of TCM textbooks.Using the theoretical perspective of historical institutionalism,this article analyzes the evolution laws of TCM textbooks from three aspects:deep structure,path dependence,and dynamic mechanism.This approach opens up new ideas,perspectives,and methods for the in-depth study of TCM textbooks,which is beneficial for improving the quality of textbooks and holds significant implications for enriching the theoretical and empirical research on compiled textbooks for higher education in TCM.
