Advancements in Research on Ethical Sensitivity among ICU Nurses
By reviewing the domestic and international literature,the research progress on ethical sensitivity of nurses in intensive care units(ICU)is reviewed in terms of the relevant concepts of ethical sensitivity,measurement tools,influencing factors(including demographic factors,emotional intelligence,teamwork,and work embeddedness),roles in ICU nursing practice(including the right to informed consent,ethical decision-making,nursing quality,and patient safety)as well as the countermeasures and suggestions to improve ethical sensitivity among ICU nurses.Meanwhile,suggestions for future research on ethical sensitivity among ICU nurses are also presented,aiming to broaden the field of nursing ethics research and provide a reference for improving the level of ethical sensitivity of ICU nurses in clinical practice.
