Death education is a necessary pathway for enhancing the death literacy of palliative care workers, effectively tackling issues related to job burnout and death anxiety.By referencing existentialist social work theory and grounding the education in Chinese cultural context,a death education framework suitable for the local cultural context can be constructed for palliative care workers. The specific framework consists of five stages:"Confronting Death Issues","Disillusionment","Discovering the Meaning of Death","Constructing a Philosophy of Life and Death",and"Commitment",each with operationalized educational methods. This approach aims to enrich research on death education in China, with the goals of enhancing the professional capabilities of palliative care workers and maintaining their physical and mental health.
