There are currently no established guidelines for the treatment of gestational glioblastoma(GBM),and the treatment methods mainly refer to case reports in the literature. With the continuous development of medical technology, the treatment of gestational GBM faces increasing ethical challenges, making the formulation of appropriate treatment strategies a critical issue in clinical practice.Clinicians must carefully balance the safety of both the patient and the fetus during treatment, respect the patient's autonomy and informed consent, and undergo strict ethical review.Effective communication, respect for the patient's wishes, and multidisciplinary teamwork are the key to achieving better treatment outcomes.Through ethical reflections on the treatment of GBM during pregnancy, the authors propose a decision-making algorithm that provides scientific and personalized decision-making basis for doctors and patients.
