This paper outlined the development process of laws and regulations on human genetic resources management in China in recent years,and analyzed the current situation of these legal frameworks.Based on the current situation of human genetic resources management,the paper identified several issues encountered in practice,especially the lack of regulations on the entry and post-entry management,the need for further clarification of the regulations on the destruction of human genetic resources,and the urgent need to improve relevant supporting laws and regulations.Finally,the paper offered targeted recommendations to address these issues,suggesting the implementation of measures for the entry and post-entry management of human genetic resources,proposing scientific standards for the destruction of such resources,advocating for the improvement of the legal system governing human genetic resource management,and strengthening the links between various laws,so as to strengthen the management and protection of human genetic resources.
