On the basis of analyzing the new challenges faced by medical ethics,Professor Du Zhizheng proposed the concept of a"new journey"of medical ethics,known as"Du Zhizheng's question".This is of great significance to the development of medical ethics in China.It highlights the need to advance medical ethics theory,address key ethical issues in medicine,and offer policy recommendations and ethical measures.The"new journey"of medical ethics must prioritize public health,adhering to the"three orientations":(1)Facing the era of artificial intelligence:Developing medical ethics to tackle the challenges posed by AI in medicine.(2)Focusing on the construction of Healthy China:Ensuring medical ethics can fully meet the public's health needs.(3)Addressing globalization:Developing an independent knowledge system of medical ethics in China,helping China's medical ethics stand out among the intellectual world.
