Exploration of Hospice Care Social Work Intervention Strategies in China
Social work practice in hospice care has confronted several challenges,including the limited range of hospice care approaches within the medical model,inadequate attention paid to the holistic needs of patients'families,and incomplete systematic resource development for patients in hospice care.To address these challenges,it is imperative to explore localized intervention strategies supported by theoretical frameworks.Social support,family resilience,and social-ecological system theories are three commonly used theoretical perspectives in the social work practice of hospice care.By drawing upon these three theoretical frameworks and the current development and clinical practice of hospice care social work in China,the value and practical principles of medical social work in hospice care can be elucidated,thereby generating fresh insights into intervention strategies for hospice care social work from different perspectives.
