Abstract
This study examines the case of Huixi Medical Cases through close reading and analysis, exploring its role as a case study of Chinese medical records in supporting narrative medicine theory and its medical value.Huixi Medical Cases not only records patient symptoms and treatment processes, but also provides a comprehensive view of the multidimensional interactions between the physician, patient, and family members during the medical process.Through narrative reflection,it highlights the identity recognition of both physicians and patients within the medical process, demonstrating Traditional Chinese Medicine's emphasis on the involvement of all participants in medical care.By further analyzing the diagnostic and therapeutic details,physician-patient interactions, patient experiences, and disease progression in the case records, this study reveals how these elements validate the core principles of narrative medicine. As represented by Huixi Medical Cases,Chinese medical records can enrich the theoretical framework of narrative medicine and offer significant practical insights for its development in modern medicine, advancing medical practice towards a more comprehensive and humanistic direction.
