Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)is a common lung malignancy that has become one of the leading causes of cancer death worldwide.The prognosis of advanced NSCLC patients is generally poor,and the disease has brought serious burden to global public health.The treatment of advanced NSCLC has always been a clinical problem.Due to the spread and metastasis of tumor cells,neoadjuvant therapy may be followed by surgical treatment in locally advanced stage,but the effect is often unsatisfactory and the side effects are greater.In recent years,traditional Chinese medicine has made remarkable progress in the treatment of advanced NSCLC,which has received wide attention.In this paper,the relevant studies on the treatment of advanced NSCLC by traditional Chinese medicine in recent years were summarized,and the mechanism of action of traditional Chinese medicine treatment was discussed to provide reference for clinical practice.
