Effect of periodontal tissue regeneration combined with tinidazole on Notch1 mRNA expression in patients with chronic periodontitis and its therapeutic effect
Objective To analyze the effect of periodontal tissue regeneration combined with tinidazole on Notchl mRNA expression in patients with chronic periodontitis(CP).Methods A total of 130 CP patients from Lishui People's Hospital were selected and randomly divided into control group(n=65)and observation group(n=65)according to random number table method. Both groups received conventional treatment, with the control group receiving periodontal tissue regeneration and the observation group receiving periodontal tissue regeneration combined with tinidazole. The changes in periodontal pocket depth(PD),sulcular bleeding index(SBI),clinical attachment levels(CAL),plaque index(PLI),the levels of Notch1 mRNA expression,Th 17 cells and IL-17,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score, clinical efficacy, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the indexes of PD,SBI,CAL and PLI in the two groups were decreased.Compared with the control group, the indexes of PD,SBI,CAL and PLI in the observation group decreased more obviously, with statistical difference(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of Notch1 mRNA,Th17 cells and IL-17 in both groups were decreased.Compared with the control group, the levels of Notch1 mRNA,Th17 cells and IL-17 in the observation group decreased more significantly after treatment, with statistical difference(P<0.05).After treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups were decreased.Compared with the control group, the VAS scores of the observation group were decreased(P<0.05).After treatment, compared with the control group, the observation group had a higher total effective rate, with statistical difference(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the adverse reactions of the observation group were slightly higher, but there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined treatment of periodontal tissue regeneration and tinidazole in CP patients can reduce Notch1 mRNA expression and pain degree, and has a significant therapeutic effect on clinical symptoms, which can be promoted.
