Objective To explore the spatial responses of neurons in different subregions of amygdala to different types of social stimuli. Methods Immediately reactive protein cFos labeling strategy and immunofluorescence staining technique were used to label the amygdala cFos immunofluorescence of mice in different social groups and control group after social stimulation.By analyzing the differences in the spatial expression position of cFos labeled neurons and the number of positive cells, the activation levels of neurons in amygdala and various subregions of mice in different social groups were compared and analyzed. Results After social stimulation,cFos activation in the amygdala subregions of the CD1,Female and Male groups was increased compared with that of the Fake group, while there was no significant difference in cFos expression in the amygdala of the Pup group. In the lateral amygdala and basal amygdala subregions,cFos expression increased in CD1 social stimulation group. In the ventrolateral part of lateral amygdaloid nucleus subregion,cFos expression increased in CD1,Female and Male social stimulation groups. In the ventromedial part of lateral amygdaloid nucleus and basal posterolateral amygdala subregions,cFos expression increased in CD1 and Female social stimulation groups. In the posterodorsal part of medial amygdaloid nucleus subregion,cFos expression increased in both CD1 and Female social stimulation groups. Conclusion Neurons in different subregions of the amygdala are activated to different degrees after different social stimuli.
