Alzheimer's disease(AD)is a multifactorial neurodegenerative disorder characterized by progressive cognitive impairment and behavioral impairment, often combined with a range of psychiatric symptoms.Agitated behavior is one of the most challenging neuropsychiatric symptoms in AD and has important implications for patients and caregivers.Agitation is common in AD and the mental state persists, while symptoms persist but are less common in psychosis. At present,in domestic and foreign studies, the research on the agitation behavior of AD mainly focuses on the treatment and nursing, but there are few studies on the mechanism and related biomarkers. In this paper,we discuss the clinical manifestations, mechanisms and related biomarkers of agitated behavior in AD patients, and strengthen the understanding of AD associated with agitated behavior,in order to provide more convenient blood markers and effective treatment strategies for the clinic.
