Professor Li Quanwang's experience in treating pancreatic cancer based on the theory of"pancreas and spleen homology"
Pancreatic cancer is a common malignant tumor of digestive system,its onset is occult,easy to metastasize,and poor prognosis,conventional surgery,radiotherapy and chemotherapy can not achieve good results.Based on the theory of"pancreas and spleen homology",Professor Li Quanwang believed that the pathogenesis of pancreatic cancer was closely related to the dysfunction of the spleen,according to his years of clinical experience.The root of the disease was deficiency of spleen qi and imbalance of its rise and fall;the signs of the disease were phlegm turbidity,blood stasis,and cancerous poison.The specific treatment includes:firstly,strengthening the spleen and replenishing qi to consolidate the foundation;secondly,regulating qi and soothing the liver,harmonizing the cardinal organs;thirdly,using aromatic drugs to turn turbid,detoxify and dissipate stagnation.The disease is located in the pancreas,involving the liver and spleen.Based on the theory of"pancreas and spleen homology",this article summarizes Professor Li Quanwang's clinical experience in the treatment of pancreatic cancer,and medical case one is attached at the end of the article.
