Application effect of knowledge-attitude-belief-practive health education and nursing based on information-motivation-behavior skill model in patients with peptic ulcer complicated with upper gastrointestinal bleeding
Objective To study the application effect of knowledge-attitude-belief-practive and nursing based on information-motivation-behavioral(IMB)skill model in patients with peptic ulcer complicated with upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Methods A total of 82 patients who received trea tment at Anqing Municipal Hospital in Anhui Province from March 2021 to October 2022 were selected, according to random number table method, patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 41 patients in each group. The control group received conventional knowledge-attitude-belief-practive and nursing intervention, and the observation group received IMB model-based knowlodge-attitude-belief-practive and nursing on the basis of the control group.Medication compliance, disease uncertainty, and self-efficacy were compared between the two groups before intervention and one month after discharge. Results One month after discharge, the compliance scores of both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the study group was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).One month after discharge, the scores of disease uncertainty in both groups were significantly decreased, and the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).One month after discharge, the self-efficacy scores of both groups were higher than before intervention, and the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Knowledge-attitude-belief-practive based on IMB model can effectively improve the therapeutic effect of patients with peptic ulcer complicated with upper gastrointestinal bleeding, and it is worth promoting and applying.
