Application of infrared irradiation combined with feedforward control intervention in patients with scar hyperplasia after hand burn
Objective To analyze the application of infrared irradiation combined with feedforward control intervention in patients with scar hyperplasia after hand burn. Methods A total of 150 patients with scar hyperplasia after hand burn admitted to West China Hospital of Sichuan University from January 2022 to February 2023 were prospectively included, and according to random number table method, they were divided into three groups, control 1 group, control 2 group, and observation group, with 50 cases in each group.Control 1 group was treated with infrared irradiation and routine nursing, control 2 group was treated with feedforward control intervention and routine nursing, observation group was treated with infrared irradiation combined with feedforward control intervention and routine nursing. The pain degree(visual analogue scale[VAS]score),activities of daily living(activities of daily living scale[ADL]score),and nursing satisfaction were compared among three groups before and after intervention.Hand function and scar degree(Vancouver scar scale[VSS]score)were compared after two months of follow-up.Results After intervention, the VAS scores of all three groups were lower than that before intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control 1 and 2 group(P<0.05).The ADL scores of all three groups were higher than before intervention, and the observation group was higher than those of the control 1 and 2 group(P<0.05).The scores of all items in the three groups of VSS were lower than that before intervention, and the observation group was lower than those of the control 1 and 2 group(P<0.05).The hand function and satisfaction of the observation group were better than those of the control 1 and 2 group(P<0.05).Conclusion Infrared irradiation combined with feedforward control intervention can relieve the pain degree, improve the ability of daily living, improve the hand function, and reduce the severity of scar in patients with scar hyperplasia after hand burns, and the satisfaction of patients is higher.
