Application of health education based on behavior change model in patients with leukemia chemotherapy
Objective To explore the clinical effect of health education based on behavior change model in nursing care of patients with leukemia chemotherapy.Methods A total of 100 leukemia chemotherapy patients admitted to the Department of Hematology,Chuzhou First People's Hospital in Anhui Province from March 2020 to February 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random number table.During chemotherapy,the control group(50 cases)was given routine medical care,and the observation group(50 cases)was given routine nursing combined with health education based on behavior change model.After three months of intervention,the changes of negative emotions,self-management ability,and quality of life in the two groups were observed.Results After intervention,the scores of anxiety and depression in both groups were lower than those before intervention,and those of observation group were lower than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of self-management ability assessment scale and questionnaire of quality of life-core 30 in both groups were higher than those before intervention,and those of observation group were lower than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Health education based on behavior change model can effectively alleviate the negative emotions of patients with leukemia chemotherapy,enhance their self-management ability,and play a positive role in improving their quality of life.
