Establishment of prostatic hyperplasia model in hyperlipidemia rats
Objective To establish hyperlipidemia rats prostatic hyperplasia model and to explore the pathological state of hyperlipidemia rats prostatic hyperplasia. Methods A total of 20 SPF SD male rats aged three months(body weight 180-200 g)were divided into the the control group(10)cases and experimental group(10)cases by random number table method.A total of 10 rats in control group were fed ordinary diet for 10 weeks;10 rats in the experimental group were fed high-fat diet for 10 weeks, and the hyperlipidemia rat prostatic hyperplasia model was established.Serum total cholesterol(TG)and triglyceride(TG)were detected by oxidase-coupled colorimetric end point method.High density lipoprotein(HDL-C)and low density lipoprotein(LDL-C)were detected by elimination method.Prostate-specific antigen(PSA),serum leptin(LEP),interleukin(IL)-6,and IL-8 were detected by ELISA.The changes of prostate tissue were detected by hematoxylineosin staining. Results TC,TG,and LDL-C in experimental group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).HDL-C in the experiment group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The weight of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The wet weight and prostatic index of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).LEP,IL-6,IL-8,and PSA in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Hyperplasia of prostate tissue in rats with high fat diet and inflammation are the important pathological changes.
