Research progress on surface markers of gastric cancer stem cell
Gastric cancer stem cell(GCSC)play an important role in the occurrence, development, invasion, and metastasis of gastric cancer. Therefore,it is important to explore surface markers of GCSC with high sensitivity and strong specificity. This paper describes the commonly used and latest GCSC markers, among them,CD44+GCSC is the first unique found to have the ability to initiate tumor growth and maintain tumor self-renewal,and is one of the more mature markers in current research.Recombinant leucine rich repeat containing G protein coupled receptor 5 also has a clear cell stemness, but it is not specific as a GCSC marker, and whether CD133+cells have cell stemness needs to be further explored.SOX2,aldehyde dehydrogenase and its isoenzyme,NME/NM23 nucleoside diphosphokinase 2 have stem cell potential, providing more possibilities and options for GCSC surface markers.
