Application of virtual bronchoscopy navigation in peripheral pulmonary disease examination
Objective To explore the application value of virtual bronchoscopic navigation(VBN)in peripheral pulmonary disease examination. Methods A total of 80 patients with peripheral pulmonary disease admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University from May 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects.Based on different biopsy methods, they were divided into simple ultrasound bronchoscopy group(NVBN group,40 cases),VBN combined with ultrasound bronchoscopy group(VBN group,40 cases). With pathological results as the gold standard, the diagnostic accuracy, arrival rate of disease, the time to start biopsy, the total time of operation, and complications of two groups were compared. Results The total diagnostic accuracy of VBN group was higher than that of NVBN group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The arrival rate of disease in VBN group was higher than that in NVBN group, and the time to start biopsy, and the total time of operation were shorter than those in NVBN group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion VBN can improve the diagnostic accuracy of peripheral pulmonary disease, shorten the operation time, and have high safety, which is worthy of clinical application.
