Effects of Reduced Glutathione for Injection on liver function and liver fibrosis indexes in patients with alcoholic liver disease
Objective To observe the effect of Reduced Glutathione for Injection on alcoholic liver disease, liver function, and liver fibrosis. Methods A total of 80 patients with alcoholic liver disease admitted to Huainan Oriental Hospital Group General Hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were selected. They were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given intravenously Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate Injection and Potassium Aspartate and Magnesium Aspartate Injection, observation group was supplemented with Reduced Glutathione for Injection on the basis of control group. Both groups were treated for two weeks. The clinical effect of two groups was compared;liver function(alanine aminotransferase[ALT],aspartate transaminase[AST],and total bilirubin[TBil])and liver fibrosis indexes(hyaluronic acid[HA],laminin[LN],and type Ⅲ procollagen peptide[P Ⅲ P])were compared between two groups before and after treatment;and the occurrence of adverse reactions in two groups was recorded. Results The clinical effect of observation group was better than that of control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of ALT,AST,and TBil in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and observation group was lower than control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of HA,LN,and P Ⅲ P in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and observation group was lower than control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Reduced Glutathione for Injection has a definite effect on alcoholic liver disease patients,is beneficial to improve liver function, inhibit liver fibrosis, and is safe, worthy of further research and promotion.
