Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is an autoimmune disease characterized by erosive arthritis as the main clinical manifestation,and its etiology and pathogenesis have not been fully elucidated.Studies have shown that the imbalance of Th17/Treg axis is an important mechanism in the development of RA,and correcting this imbalance has significant implications for the treatment of RA.Traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in the prevention and treatment of RA.In recent years,a series of experimental and clinical studies have shown that Chinese herbal medicine can effectively correct the imbalance of Th17/Treg axis,thereby inhibiting the autoimmune inflammatory response in RA.This article summarizes and analyzes the intervention studies on the Th 17/Treg axis in RA by Chinese herbal monomers,active ingredients,and herbal formulas in the past five years,which is conducive to a more comprehensive understanding of the mechanism of action of traditional Chinese medicine intervention in balancing Th 17/Treg in RA,and providing reference for further treatment of RA.
