Role and research progress of overexpressing chemokine CXCL1 in gastric cancer
Stomach cancer is the fifth most common cancer and the fourth leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide. The pathogenic factors of gastric cancer are diversified. With the increase of average life span, the incidence of gastric cancer is also on the rise. Therefore, early diagnosis of gastric cancer patients is of great help to improve the prognosis of patients. In recent years, the traditional treatment of gastric cancer has gradually entered a bottleneck period, and new therapeutic measures need to be developed. One area of gastric cancer research is the interaction between gastric cancer cells and immune cells,in which chemokines play a crucial role. With the increasingly clear relationship between chemokine growth regulatory gene 1(CXCL1)and gastric cancer,CXCL1 is expected to become a promising target for the treatment of gastric cancer. In this review, the research progress of overexpressing chemokine CXCL1 in gastric cancer in recent years was reviewed.
