Effects of systematic insomnia program on negative emotions, sleep quali-ty,and cardiovascular events in patients with coronary heart disease complicated with insomnia
Objective To explore the effects of systematic insomnia program on negative emotions, sleep quality, and cardiovascular events in patients with coronary heart disease complicated with insomnia. Methods A total of 100 patients with coronary heart disease combined with insomnia treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University from February to June 2023 were selected and they were divided into system group and conventional group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The systematic insomnia program was used in system group, and the conventional group was used in routine intervention for two weeks.Negative emotions(Hamilton anxiety scale[HAMA]and Hamilton depression scale[HAMD]),sleep quality(pittsburgh sleep quality index[PSQI])and cardiovascular events were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results After intervention,HAMA score,HAMD score and PSQI total score of two groups were lower than before intervention, while the system group was lower than the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of cardiovascular events in system group was lower than that in conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Systematic insomnia program can effectively improve the negative emotions of patients with coronary heart disease complicated with insomnia, improve sleep quality, and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events.
