Analyse of prognostic value of peripheral blood helper T cell 17 level and monocyte/lymphocyte ratio in patients with colorectal cancer
Objective To explore the prognostic value of peripheral blood helper T cell 17(Th17)level and monocyte/lymphocyte ratio(MLR)in patients with colorectal cancer. Methods A total of 89 patients with colorectal cancer admitted to Nantong Cancer Hospital in Jiangsu Province from January 2015 to December 2017(with at least five years of follow-up)were selected and divided into good prognosis group(58 cases)and poor prognosis group(31 cases)according to the prognosis.Relevant clinical data, and peripheral blood Th17,MLR of the two groups were collected. The influencing of prognostio factors of colorectal cancer patients were analyzed, and the predictive value of Th17,MLR,and combined detection was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve. Results The proportion of clinical stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ,low differentiation, and peripheral blood Th17,MLR in the poor prognosis group were higher than those in the good prognosis group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that clinical stage(OR=1.985,95%CI:1.167-3.376),Th17(OR=2.126;95%CI:1.310-3.449),MLR(OR=2.353,95%CI:1.276-4.337)were independent risk factor affecting the prognosis of colorectal patients(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve(AUC)of Th17,MLR,and their combined prediction of patient prognosis were 0.732,0.746,and 0.939,respectively.Conclusion Th17 and MLR in peripheral blood are independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer, and their combined detection can effectively predict the prognosis of patients.
