This article summarizes Professor Liu Guobin's academic thoughts on the treatment of thromboangiitis obliterans.Professor Liu proposed that yang deficiency cold coagulation is the initial pathogenesis of thromboangiitis obliterans,and then the formation of blood stasis,vein blocking,and other pathological links,so the pathogenesis of this disease is summa-rized as"cold coagulation meridians,blood stasis blocking collaterals".He proposed to"warming the meridian to dispel cold,activating blood and clearing collaterals"as the treatment principle,and pay attention to fuyang medication,thinking that af-ter the body's yang is sufficient,qi and blood can run smoothly,blood stasis and other pathological factors dissipate.Pro-fessor Liu stressed that only by grasping the pathogenesis can grasp the key to treatment,and find out the contradictions in complex diseases in order to achieve good results.The clinical experience of Professor Liu is summarized as follows,and one case is attached to provide ideas for the treatment of thromboangiitis obliterans.
