Effect of solution focused approach on prenatal emotion, coping style, and delivery outcome of primipara
Objective To investigate the effect of solution focused approach on prenatal emotion, coping style, and delivery outcome of primipara. Methods A total of 304 primiparas who received regular prenatal examination and gave birth in the Sixth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from October 2020 to September 2022 were selected, and they were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 152 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention, the observation group received solution focused approach. The scores of self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),and simplified coping style questionnaire(SCSQ)were compared between two groups;and the delivery outcome were recorded. Results After intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS scores of two groups were lower than those before intervention, and those of observation group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the positive coping scores of two groups were higher that those before intervention, while negative coping scores were lower than those before intervention;and the positive coping score of observation group was higher than that of control group, while the negative coping score was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).There was significant difference in delivery mode between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion solution focused approach can relieve prenatal emotion, improve coping style, and delivery outcomes.
