There are many kinds of liver diseases,and the clinical symptoms are repeatedly difficult to cure.Although there are many treatment methods for liver diseases,the clinical effect is still poor.Therefore,it is clinically necessary to find new drugs to treat liver diseases to improve the survival rate of patients.Kaempferol,as an active monomer of traditional Chinese medicine,has a unique advantage in the treatment of liver diseases and is expected to improve the clinical prognosis of liver diseases.By reviewing the literatures and studies on kaempferol in the treatment of liver fibrosis,non-alcoholic fatty liver disease,acute liver failure,and liver cancer in recent years,the effects and molecular mechanisms of kaempferol against liver diseases were summarized,in order to provide theoretical basis for the clinical application of kaempferol as liver protective drugs.
