Predictive value of peripheral blood inflammatory indicators lymphocytes/monocytes ratio, mean platelet volume, and platelet distribution width in HELLP syndrome
Objective To investigate the predictive value of peripheral blood inflammatory indicators lymphocytes/mono-cytes ratio(LMR),mean platelet volume(MPV),and platelet distribution width(PDW)in HELLP syndrome. Methods A to-tal of 160 patients of severe preeclampsia who were admitted to Cangzhou People's Hospital of Hebei Province from January 2021 to December 2022 were enrolled. They were divided into HELLP group(42 cases)and non-HELLP group(118 cases)according to whether or not complicated with HELLP syndrome. The clinical data of two groups were collected and com-pared;the risk factors of HELLP syndrome were analyzed;the predictive value of LMR、MPV,and PDW in HELLP syn-drome were analyzed. Results White blood cell count, neutrophil count,LMR,MPV,and PDW in HELLP group were higher than those in non-HELLP group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).LMR,MPV,and PDW were the risk factors for HELLP syndrome(OR=1.701,1.894,1.593,P<0.05).The area under the curve of LMR,MPV,and PDW combined detection was higher than that of single detection(P<0.05).Conclusion LMR,MPV,and PDW are the risk factors for HELLP syndrome. The combination of LMR,MPV,and PDW can predict the occurrence of HELLP syndrome.Early prediction is helpful to correct treatment and take necessary preventive measures.
