Professor Cheng Weimin's experience in treating primary immune throm-bocytopenia based on the theory of"toxic deficiency causing disease"in Zhuang medicine
Primary immune thrombocytopenia is a disease characterized by thrombocytopenia. The treatment of primary immune thrombocytopenia in modern medicine is to improve the number of platelets to a safe level and reduce bleeding events on the basis of minimizing adverse reactions. However, most patients are often accompanied by fatigue, anxiety, and other clinical manifestations, affecting the quality of life of patients."Toxic deficiency causing disease"is derived from the theory of poison deficiency theory in Zhuang medicine, which believes that both toxin and deficiency lead to the occurrence of disease, and affect the development and outcome.Based on the theory of poison deficiency in Zhuang medicine,Professor Cheng Weimin believes that the key pathogenic factors of primary immune thrombocytopenia are wind, dampness, fire and heat toxin. The deficiency of qi,blood, yin and yang can accelerate the progression of the disease. In principle, the treatment advocates eliminating toxin and strengthening the body, grasping the key pathogenic factors, strengthening the traditional Chinese medicine that is conducive to blocking the pathogenic factors, and preventing disease transmission. Finally, two proven cases are attached in order to provide new reference for clinical treatment.
