Effect of standardized pain care combined with functional exercise on postoperative recovery of patients with Schatzker Ⅳ tibial plateau fracture
Objective To investigate the effect of standardized pain nursing combined with functional exercise on postoperative recovery of patients with Schatzker Ⅳ tibial plateau fracture. Methods A total of 52 patients with Schatzker Ⅳtibial plateau fractures who underwent surgical treatment in Beijing Friendship Hospital,Capital Medical University from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and experimental group by stratified block random grouping method, with 26 cases in each group. The control group received routine pain nursing combined with functional exercise, and the experimental group received standardized pain nursing combined with functional exercise. The visual analogue scale(VAS)score, knee range of motion(ROM),Rasmussen tibial plateau fracture score, and quality of life were compared between the two groups at 24 hours and 1,2,3,6 months after operation. Results The VAS scores of the two groups at 1,2,3,and 6 months after operation were lower than those at 24 hours after operation, and the VAS scores at 6 months after operation were lower than those at 1,2,3 months after operation, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The knee ROM,Rasmussen tibial plateau fracture score, and short form 36(SF-36)score of the two groups at 1,2,3,6 months after operation were higher than those at 24 hours after operation, and those at 6 months after operation were higher than those at 1,2,3 months after operation, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The VAS scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group at 1,2,3,6 months after operation, and the knee ROM,Rasmussen tibial plateau fracture score, and SF-36 score of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group at 1,2,3,6 months after operation, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Standardized pain nursing combined with functional exercise has clinical significance in the early postoperative pain relief, the recovery of knee joint activity, and the improvement of function and quality of life in patients with Schatzker Ⅳ tibial plateau fractures.
