Application research of visual round nose patch combined with hemi spherical mesh pocket in gastrointestinal decompression
Objective To investigate the effect of visible round nose patch combined with hemispherical mesh pocket on gastrointestinal decompression and its clinical value.Methods A total of 128 patients with indentured gastrointestinal decompression from January to D ecember 2020 from the First People's Hospital of Linping District were selected and divided into control group and study group according to random number table method,64 cases in each group.The control group was fixed with conventional right-angle"human"nose patch combined with pins for gastrointestinal decompression,while the study group was fixed with"visible round corner"nose patch combined with hemispherical mesh pocket.The frequency of nasal patch replacement,rate of gastrointestinal decompression device removal,rate of unplanned extubation,incidence of nasal skin adverse reactions,sleep conditions at different treatment times(at the first,third,and fifth day after catheterization),and comfort scores were compared between the two groups.Results The frequency of nasal and facial patch replacement,the rate of gastrointestinal decompression device shedding,the rate of unplanned extubation and the incidence of nasal skin adverse reactions in the study group were lower than those in the control group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).There were significant differences in sleep status between the two groups and each time points(P<0.05).The psychological,physiological,social,environmental,and overall scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The designed gastrointestinal decompression fixation method can effectively reduce the rate of unplanned extubation,improve the medical effect and patient comfort,and is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
