Research progress of magnetic resonance technique in diabetic peripheral neuropathy
At present, there are limitations in the early diagnosis and evaluation of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Recent studies have shown that imaging magnetic resonance neuroimaging can visually display the structural changes of peripheral neuropathy and can quantitatively assess the extent of the lesion. In addition, its functional imaging can quantitatively assess the extent of nerve fiber damage and is consistent with clinical symptoms. It is concluded that magnetic resonance has advantages in early diagnosis and efficacy monitoring of diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and is expected to be a reliable quantitative evaluation method.More and more attention has been paid to the study of magnetic resonance imaging in diabetic peripheral neuropathy. This paper reviews the domestic and foreign magnetic resonance imaging research literature on diabetic peripheral neuropathy in the past five years, summarizes the key contents, and hopes to provide references for revealing the pathological mechanism, clinical diagnosis and efficacy evaluation of this disease through these research results.
