Comparative study on the characteristics of online and offline patients in pediatric traditional Chinese medicine outpatient department in the context of"Internet+Medical"from 2020 to 2022
Objective To compared the population characteristics of online and offline treatment mode of pediatric traditional Chinese medicine outpatient department,in order to improve the quality of medical service and the efficiency of hospital management.Methods From January 2020 to December 2022,the outpatient information system of Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of Outpatient of Beijing Children's Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University was collected,and demographic,time,region,and other observation indicators were set.Results There were statistically significant differences in demographic characteristics(gender,age,ethnicity,main diagnosis at the time of visit),time characteristics(time series analysis,date of visit,frequency of visit),and regional characteristics(human development index region,geographical region)between the online and offline treatment groups.Ethnic minority children(7.29%vs.4.04%),diseases of blood and hematopoietic organs(48.55%vs.10.90%),connective tissue diseases of musculoskeletal system(1.84%vs.0.84%),working days(96.95%vs.79.29%),morning(86.41%vs.54.80%)and very low human development index areas(0.57%vs.0.24%)had a higher proportion of online children(P＜0.01).Conclusion"Internet + medical"model has the promotion significance in pediatric traditional Chinese medicine outpatient department.Online diagnosis and treatment can effectively improve the fairness of medical services and effectively promote the sinking of high-quality medical resources.At the same time,the two diagnosis and treatment methods have differences in medical inclination,responsiveness,and diagnostic content.Medical institutions should take advantage of the situation,give full play to the advantages of the two models,and constantly improve the development and transformation of traditional Chinese medicine in the new era.
