Correlation analysis of serum brain natriuretic peptide, cardiac troponin T,and shock index with major adverse cardiovascular events in patients with acute myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention
Objective To explore the correlation of serum brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),cardiac troponin T(cTnT),shock index(SI),and major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)treatment in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods Clinical data of 200 AMI patients treated with PCI at the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University and Binhai County People's Hospital in Jiangsu Province from November 2017 to November,2022 was retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into MACE group(60 cases)and non-MACE group(140 cases).Baseline data, degree of vascular stenosis(Gensini)score, total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C),preoperative albumin,BNP,cTnT,and SI were compared between two groups.Risk factors of MACE were analyzed by logistic stepwise regression, and receiver operator characteristic(ROC)curve analysis was used to analyze the predictive value of various indicators in MACE.Results The proportion of patients with diabetes, age, and the levels of BNP,cTnT,and SI in the MACE group were higher than those in the non-MACE group(P<0.05).Logistic stepwise regression analysis results showed that,age(OR=2.145,95%CI= 1.056-4.357),BNP(OR=1.985,95%CI=1.156-3.408),cTnT(OR=1.997,95%CI=1.145-3.483),and SI(OR=1.897,95%CI =1.260-3.196)were the risk factors for MACE in AMI patients after PCI treatment.ROC curve analysis results showed that, age, diabetes,cTnT,and SI could be used to predict the occurrence of MACE in AMI patients after PCI treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion The occurrence of MACE in AMI patients after PCI treatment is influenced by age,BNP,cTnT,and SI,which can be used to predict the occurrence of MACE.
