Current status analysis and influencing factors of secondary upper gastrointestinal bleeding in stroke patients
Objective To investigate the status of secondary upper gastrointestinal bleeding(UGH)in stroke patients and the influencing factors. Methods A total of 126 stroke patients admitted to First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2021 to August 2022 were selected and they were divided into UGH group and non-UGH group according to the occurrence of UGH.Demographic characteristics and disease correlation were compared between two groups.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to determine the influencing factors of secondary UGH in stroke patients. Results Among the 126 patients,30(23.81%)had secondary UGH.The proportion of age≥65 years old, hypertension grade 3,previous stroke history, hemorrhagic stroke, glasgow coma scale(GCS)of 3-8 points, use of anticoagulant proportion in UGH group were higher than non-UGH group(P<0.05).Age≥65 years old(OR=1.472,95%CI:1.093-1.982),hypertension grade 3(OR=2.209,95%CI:1.387-3.518),GCS score on admission 3-8(OR=2.692,95%CI:1.315-5.511),use of antic-oagulants(OR=1.608,95%CI:1.125-2.298)were risk factors for UGH in stroke patients(P<0.05).Conclusion Age≥65 years old, hypertension, grade 3 GCS score of 3-8,use of anticoagulants are risk factors for secondary UGH in stroke patients.
