Predictive value of the levels of serum vascular endothelial growth factor combined with tumor necrosis factor receptor associated factor 6 in ad-verse pregnancy outcomes in patients with preeclampsia
Objective To explore the predictive value of the levels of serum vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)combined with tumor necrosis factor receptor associated factor 6(TRAF6)in adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with preeclampsia(PE).Methods One hundred and twenty-five patients with PE who were diagnosed and delivered in Suzhou Municipal Hospital,Jiangsu Province from January 2018 to December 2022 were retrospective selected to be included in study group,at the same time, one hundred and thirty healthy parturients who delivered during the same period were selected to be included in control group, the levels of VEGF and TRAF6 were compared between two groups. The occurrence of pregnancy outcomes in patients with PE was recorded;the risk factors affecting the patients'pregnancy outcomes were analyzed;receiver operating characteristics curve was used to evaluate the predictive value of the levels of VEGF combined with TRAF6 in pregnancy outcomes in patients with PE.Results The level of VEGF in study group was decreased than that in control group, and the level of TRAF6 was increased than that in control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in PE patients was 32.80%(41/125).The level of VEGF in adverse pregnancy outcome group was lower than that in good pregnancy outcome group, and the level of TRAF6 was higher than that in good pregnancy outcome group(P<0.05).The proportion of primipara, systolic blood pressure, and diastolic blood pressure in adverse pregnancy outcome group were higher than those in good pregnancy outcome group(P<0.05).VEGF(OR=0.146)and TRAF6(OR=4.772)were the influential factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with PE(P<0.05).The areas under the curve of VEGF,TRAF6 and their combination predicted pregnancy outcomes in patients with PE were 0.757,0.760,and 0.906,respectively.Conclusion VEGF is a protective factor for pregnancy outcome in patients with PE and TRAF6 is a risk factor. The combination of VEGF and TRAF6 has a high predictive value for pregnancy outcome.
