Professor Zheng Honggang's experience in treating tumor-related insom-nia by syndrome differentiation based on the theory of"turbid evils in-vading the clear orifice"
Tumor-related insomnia is one of the common symptoms in the course of tumorigenesis and treatment,which seriously affects the quality of life and prognosis of tumor patients.The theory of"turbid evils invading the clear orifice"has guiding significance in the occurrence,development,and treatment of tumor-related insomnia."Turbidity evil"refers to the pathological evil that invades human body,including dampness,phlegm,stasis,stagnation and other pathological factors."Clear"and"turbid"is the opposite,often manifested as clear qi,clear orifice,etc.,in the human body plays an important physiological function.Professor Zheng Honggang believes that liver depression and spleen deficiency is the core of tumor microenvironment formation and the basis of turbidity evil,and the gradual emergence of turbidity evil leads to qingqi deficiency and decline.Phlegm and blood stasis interlocking causes turbidness and internal accumulation,and qingqi impassability.The flow of turbid evil causes damage to clear orifices.By discussing the pathogenesis changes in the occurrence and development of tumor-related insomnia,this paper reveals the dynamic pathogenesis evolution of tumor-related insomnia based on"turbid evils invading the clear orifice",and considers the basic principles of tumor-related insomnia,such as soothing the liver and invigorating the spleen for turbidity-clearing,eliminating phlegm and blood stasis for turbidity-clearing,and reinforcing healthy qi and tonifying deficiency for turbidity-clearing,which is of great significance for clinical guidance.
