Effect of"internet+ continuing nursing"on drug compliance and self-care ability of pulmonary tuberculosis patients
Objective To explore the effect of"internet+ continuing nursing"on drug compliance and self-care ability of pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Methods A total of 102 pulmonary tuberculosis patients admitted to the Sixth People's Hospital of Nantong,Jiangsu Province from June 2020 to May 2022 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into control group and study group, with 51 cases in each group. After discharge, the control group implemented routine follow-up,and study group implemented"internet+ continuous nursing".The pulmonary function(forced vital capacity[FVC],forced expiratory volume in one second[FEV1],and FEV1/FVC),Morisky medication compliance scale-8 item(MMAS-8)score,exercise of self-care agency scale(ESCA)score and ne St George's respiratory questionnaire(SGRQ)score were compared between two groups at discharge and after discharge. Results After discharge, the levels of FVC,FEV 1,and FEV1/FVC in both groups were higher than those at discharge, and those of study group were higher than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After discharge, the MMAS-8 scores in both groups were lower than those before discharge, while those of study group were higher than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After discharge, the ESCA scores of both groups were higher than those at discharge, and the SGRQ scores were lower than those at discharge;ESCA score of study group was higher than that of control group, and SGRQ score was lower than that of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion"Internet+ continuing nursing"can improve the drug compliance and self-management ability of pulmonary tuberculosis patients at home, and is worth promoting.
