Comparative study on postgraduate education thesis of traditional Chinese and Western medicine orthopedics in China based on CiteSpace and VOSviewer
Objective To explore and compare the current status,hot spots,and trends of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine orthopedic postgraduate education,in order to provide scientific basis and reference for follow-up research.Methods The paper was retrieved from China National Knowledge Internet,Wanfang Data,VIP,and Web of Science core collection databases.The annual,journal,and research institution publications were counted.VOSviewer 1.6.19 software was used to draw author cooperation and keyword co-occurrence graphs,and CiteSpace 6.2.R4 software was used to draw institutional cooperation,keyword clustering,emergence and time line graphs.Results A total of 252 articles were included.Both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine have experienced a stage from early exploration to fluctuating growth;the journal with the highest number of articles published in Chinese medicine was Education of Chinese Medicine,and Western medicine was China Continuing Medical Education.The representative authors of Chinese medicine and Western medicine were Wei Guikang and Wang Xinwei respectively.Both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine focus on clinical competence teaching,while traditional Chinese medicine focuses on theoretical speculation,and Western medicine focuses on technical application.Future teaching reform may be based on teaching method innovation,digital technology iteration and other aspects.Conclusion There is still a huge space and potential for the development of postgraduate education in orthopedics of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine.The follow-up research should focus on promoting the exchange of research subjects,focusing on the application of cutting-edge technologies,and creating a characteristic inheritance model.
