Clinical value of serum basal value of luteinizing hormone combined with Kisspeptin level in the diagnosis of central precocious puberty in girls
Objective To explore the clinical value of serum basal value of luteinizing hormone(LH)combined with Kisspeptin level in the diagnosis of central precocious puberty(CPP)in girls. Methods A total of 115 CPP in girls admitted to Zhoushan Women and Children's Hospital of Zhejiang Province from January 2020 to March 2023 were selected as study group, while 120 girls who underwent health examinations during the same period were selected as control group. The basal value of LH,Kisspeptin level, and clinical data were compared between two groups;the influencing factors of CPP in girls were analyzed;and the diagnostic value of serum basal value of LH combined with Kisspeptin level for CPP in girls was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic curve. Results The basal value of LH and Kisspeptin level of study group were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).The bone age, estradiol, basal serum follicle-stimulating hormone, prolactin, ovarian volume, and uterine volume of study group were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).The basal value of LH(OR=1.857)and Kisspeptin level(OR=2.353)were independent risk factors for the occurrence of CPP in girls(P<0.05).The area under the curve of basal value of LH,Kisspeptin, and their combination for diagnosing CPP in girls were 0.759,0.730,and 0.930,respectively.Conclusion The abnormal high expression of basal value of LH and Kisspeptin level in the serum of CPP in girls, and they are independent risk factors affecting the occurrence of CPP in girls. The combined detection of the basal value of LH level and Kisspeptin level can better diagnose the development of CPP in girls.
