Levels of plasma soluble endothelial cell protein C receptor, total circu-lating microparticles in peripheral blood, and gelsolin in patients with preeclampsia and their clinical significance
Objective To investigate the levels of plasma soluble endothelial cell protein C receptor(sEPCR),total circulating microparticles(MPs)in peripheral blood, and gelsolin(GSN)in patients with preeclampsia and their clinical signi-ficance.Methods A total of 103 pregnant women with preeclampsia who had established prenatal registration and were diagnosed in Taicang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Jiangsu Province from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected as case group, and 200 healthy pregnant women who had established prenatal registration during the same period were selected as control group. The patients in case group were divided into mild preeclampsia group(71 cases)and severe preeclampsia group(32 cases)according to the severity of the disease. The systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),sEPCR,activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),thrombin time(TT),prothrombin time(PT),platelet count(PLT),total circulating MPs in peripheral blood, and GSN were compared among each group;correlation of sEPCR,total circulating MPs in peripheral blood, and GSN and blood pressure was performed by Pearson correlation analysis. Results SBP and DBP of case group were higher than those of control group,PLT,TT,and APTT were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).The sEPCR and total circulating MPs in peripheral blood of case group were higher than those of control group,GSN in case group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).SBP and DBP of severe preeclampsia group were higher than those in mild preeclampsia group,PLT was lower than that of mild preeclampsia group(P<0.05);and there were no significant differences in TT and APTT between two groups(P>0.05).The sEPCR and total circulating MPs in peripheral blood of severe preeclampsia group were higher than those of mild preeclampsia group group,GSN was lower than that of mild preeclampsia group(P<0.05).The sEPCR and total circulating MPs in peripheral blood were positively correlated with SBP and DBP in patients with preeclampsia(r>0,P<0.05),while GSN was negatively correlated with SBP and DBP(r<0,P<0.05).Conclusion In preeclampsia patients,sEPCR and total circulating MPs in peripheral blood are increased, and GSN is decreased, which are related to the severity of the disease, and may be related to the hypercoagulability of preeclampsia patients.
