Application of enteral nutrition nursing model under feedforward control theory in patients with sepsis
Objective To explore the application effect of enteral nutrition nursing model under feedforward control theory in patients with sepsis. Methods A total of 200 patients with sepsis who were hospitalized in Nantong Third People's Hospital from January 2019 to December 2022 were selected by convenience sampling method, and they were divided into control group and experimental group, with 100 cases in each group. The control group received conventional enteral nutrition care, and the experimental group received feedforward control theory based enteral nutrition care. The nutritional status, the level of inflammatory factors, and the recovery of disease status were compared between the two groups before and after nursing. Results After nursing, the total incidence of diarrhea, abdominal distension, vomiting, and gastric retention in experimental group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).After nursing, albumin, prealbumin, and hemoglobin in two groups were higher than those before nursing, and those of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Acute physiology and chronic health Ⅱ scores in both groups were lower than those before intervention, and those of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Enteral nutrition nursing mode under feedforward control theory can improve the nutritional status of sepsis patients, reduce the level of inflammatory factors and promote the recovery of acute and chronic diseases.
