Construction and application of perioperative nursing program for cryoballoon ablation of atrial fibrillation
Objective lo explore the construction and application of a perioperative nursing program for cryoballoon ablation of atrial fibrillation. Methods A total of 260 patients who underwent cryoballoon ablation at Ruijin Hospital,Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from September 2020 to August 2021 and from October 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and 130 patients who did not receive perioperative nursing program from September 2020 to August 2021 were selected as the control group, and 130 patients from October 2021 to September 2022 who accepted the perioperative nursing program were the study group. The general clinical data of patients in both groups and the incidence of common complications and pain in the 24 h postoperative period were observed to evaluate the applicability of the nursing program. Results There were no significant differences in age, sex, body mass index, education background, marriage, payment method, intraoperative heparin dosage, puncture site, thrombin time, whole blood coagulation time, international standardized value, and previous ablation times between the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of limb numbness in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The different pain levels 4 and 8 h after operation between the two groups, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The perioperative nursing program for cryoballoon ablation of atrial fibrillation can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and increase patient comfort.
