Influence of emotional adaptation theory on the psychological state of cirrhosis patients
Objective To explore the influence of emotional adaptation theory on the psychological state of cirrhosis patients.Methods A total of 90 patients hospitalized in the Second Department of Liver Disease,Nantong Third Hospital,Nantong University from January 2019 to December 2022 were selected.Patients were divided into control and observation groups by random number table method,with 45 patients in each group.The control group received routine nursing intervention,and the observation group implemented the emotional adaptation theory intervention based on the control group.The anxiety and aceptability on the day of admission,after one month and after three months were compared.Results The overall analysis showed that there were significant differences between the two groups in GAD-7.time point,inter-group,and interaction(P<0.05).Further pair-wise comparison,intra-group comparison:there were statistically significant differences in GAD-7 scores between the two groups at each time point(P<0.05);inter-group comparison:the GAD-7 scores of the observation group at one month and three months after admission were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);there were statistically significant differences in the inter-group,time-point,and interaction of the Chinese version Acceptance of illness scale(AIS-CHI)between two groups(P<0.05).Further pairwise comparison,intra-group comparison:the AIS-CHI scores of the two groups at each time point were significantly different(P<0.05);inter-group comparison showed that the AIS-CHI scores of the observation group at one month and three months after admission were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The affective adaptation theory intervention in patients with cirrhosis has a positive effect on the improvement of patients'anxiety,and also helps patients to accept the disease and improve their cooperation in treatment.
