Application progress of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry in the detection of local tissue samples of osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis(OA)has always been considered as a chronic degenerative disease, and the catabolic disorders of multiple tissues in the joint are closely related to the occurrence and development of OA.Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS)can detect specific metabolites and related metabolic pathways in OA,and reveal the potential pathological and physiological metabolic processes of OA.In this paper, the metabolic results of articular cartilage, synovial membrane, and fat pad samples detected by LC-MS in OA in recent years are discussed and summarized, and the differential metabolites and metabolic pathways detected by LC-MS in OA local tissue samples are reviewed, providing theoretical basis for the identification of biomarkers related to OA progression by LC-MS technology.
