Analysis of inpatient death records in the First People's Hospital of Yulin from 2013 to 2021
Objective To analyze the main diseases and influencing factors affecting people's life safety,so as to provide scientific basis for disease prevention and improvement of hospital medical quality.Methods The information of hospitalized patients from January 1,2013 to December 31,2021 in the First People's Hospital of Yulin of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was exported through the medical record management system,and the medical records of hospitalized dead patients were retrospectively analyzed by SPSS 26.0 statistical software.Results The mortality rate in each year showed a decreasing trend,the mortality rate of male was higher than that of female(P＜0.05).Mean age of death was(56.29±22.97)years;the number of deaths in 60-＜80 years old had the highest number of deaths.The sex ratio of death patients in each age group:the highest death ratio was between 40 and＜60 years old,and the overall death ratio was 2.0:1.0.The mortality rate increased with the increase of age(P＜0.05).The top five causes of death were circulatory system diseases,tumor,injury,poisoning and some other consequences of external causes,respiratory system and digestive system diseases.Among them,the top three causes of death of circulatory system diseases were cerebral hemorrhage,myocardial infarction,and cerebral infarction,and the top three causes of death of tumors were liver malignant tumor,lung malignant tumor,and leukemia.Primary cause of death:injuries,poisoning and certain other consequences of external causes,0-＜20 years old;20-60 years old was tumor;60 years or older was a circulatory disease.Conclusion The mortality rate of inpatients in the First People's Hospital of Yulin of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region decreased year by year,and the mortality rate has gender and age differences.According to the analysis of cause of death,the prevention and treatment of circulatory system diseases,tumor,injury,poisoning and some other consequences of external causes,respiratory system,and digestive system diseases should be strengthened,and the hospital management should be improved to reduce the mortality rate of inpatients.
