Analysis of influencing factors of postpartum urinary retention in primi-para after vaginal delivery
Objective To analyze the influencing factors of postpartum urinary retention(PUR)in primipara after vaginal delivery,and to provide the basis for the formulation of postpartum nursing intervention.Methods Ninety cases of primiparas with vaginal delivery received from Huaian First People's Hospital,Jiangsu Province from July 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the study subjects.According to whether PUR occurred,they were divided into non-urinary retention group(58 cases)and urinary retention group(32 cases).The general data,psychological state,and pain of two groups were compared,and the related factors of PUR occurrence in primipara after vaginal delivery were analyzed.Results There were significant differences in age,self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)score,and numeric rating scale(NRS)score between two groups(P<0.05).Age>35 years old,SAS score ≥ 50 points,NRS score ≥4 points were risk factors of PUR in primipara after vaginal delivery(OR=3.281,2.487,2.158,P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence of PUR in primipara after vaginal delivery is high.Obstetric nurses need to strengthen pain management strategies,select appropriate midwifery methods,timely psychological counseling,and strengthen the knowledge of nursing precautions to prevent PUR.
