Clinical effect of Huazhi Rougan Granules in treating nonalcoholic fatty liver disease with damp-heat blocking middle jiao type and impact on inflammatory factors
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Huazhi Rougan Granules in treating nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)with damp-heat blocking middle jiao type and to observe the intervention of inflammatory factors in peripheral serum.Methods A total of 90 patients with damp-heat blocking middle jiao type NAFLD treated in Wuhan Third Hospital from January to December 2021 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into the treatment group and the control group by random number table method,with 45 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Polyene Phosphatidylcholine Granules on the basis of basic treatment,and the treatment group was treated with Huazhi Rougan Granules on the basis of basic treatment.Both groups were treated continuously for three months.Body mass index,blood lipids,liver function,and inflammatory indexes(Toll-like receptor-4,myeloid differentiation factor 88,nuclear factor-κB)were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the levels of triglyceride,alanine aminotransferase,and aspartate aminotransferase in two groups were lower than before treatment,and those in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the body mass index of the treatment group was lower than before treatment,and that in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatme-nt,the levels of toll-like receptor-4,myeloid differentiation factor 88,nuclear factor-KB,tumor necrosis factor-α,and interleukin-1 β in two groups were lower than before treatment,and those in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).No significant changes were found in vital signs such as body temperature,heart rate,and electrocardiogram before and after treatment.Conclusion Huazhi Rougan Granules has significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of damp-heat blocking middle jiao type NAFLD.It can reduce body weight,lower body mass index,improve blood lipid and liver function,lower inflammatory factors,and inhibit inflammatory response.
