Application effect of health education in gestational diabetes mellitus patients
Objective To explore the application effect of quantifying health education in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus patients(GDM).Methods A total of 96 patients with GDM admitted to Huaian First Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as study object, and they were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 48 cases in each group. The control group received conventional health education, and observation group received quantitative health education on the basis of control group. The self-management ability and blood glucose level before and after intervention were compared;the pregnancy outcomes of two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the score of self-management ability in both groups was higher than that before intervention, and that of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose in both groups were lower than those before intervention, and those of observation group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in delivery mode between two groups(P>0.05);the incidence of hypertension and macrosomia in observation group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Quantitative health education can improve the self-management ability and blood glucose level of GDM patients, and help reduce the incidence of pregnancy hypertension and macrosomia.
